
SIM is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly-motivated and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates will be expected to deliver the course content in a 3-hour lecture format on a weekly basis, and manage assessment marking within a given deadline. They will work closely with the course coordinator based in the partner university to achieve the desired students’ outcome.
Module: Unmanned Aerial System Operations
This Unmanned Aerial System Operations course provides students with an overview on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and how they are operated in the segregated airspace. Both Line of Sight (LOS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) operations are explored. The regulatory requirements are also explored to allow for safe operation and integration into the available airspace.
Key areas of study:
Classes are mostly conducted during weekday evening from 7.00pm to 10.00pm.
Teaching information:
1) To teach the 6 required sessions of a 3-hour lecture for once a week.
2) To set, coach and mark assessments
