Your New Role!
We are seeking to appoint either an Associate Lecturer (Level A) or a Lecturer (Level B) in Murdoch University, South Street Campus.
As an Associate Lecturer (Level A), you will contribute to teaching, research and engagement activities within Murdoch University’s Regenerative Tourism program. Working under the guidance of senior academics, you will develop your teaching and research expertise while supporting student success and building connections with industry. This role focuses on supporting the delivery of an innovative and collaborative Regenerative Tourism program, building a track record of scholarship and industry engagement, and raising the profile of the discipline nationally and internationally to support student recruitment and program growth.
As a Lecturer (Level B), you will make an independent contribution to teaching, research and engagement within Murdoch University’s Regenerative Tourism program. You will deliver high-quality learning experiences, undertake impactful research, build industry partnerships, and contribute to the growth and reputation of the discipline. This role has a strong focus on delivering teaching excellence in Regenerative Tourism, establishing a sustained program of scholarship and industry engagement, and developing strategic partnerships that enhance student outcomes, research impact and program growth.
For both roles, expectations are guided by Murdoch University’s Building a Brighter Future Together: Ngala Kwop Biddi strategy and the Academic Career Expectations (ACE) Framework. You will contribute to the University’s priorities in Sustainability, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and First Nations initiatives while demonstrating strong academic citizenship.
