Open innovation has become the new imperative for the 21st Century and is considered as one of the main paradigms in innovation management. Various companies worldwide have already championed open innovation principles by integrating it with the strategy.

This course will equip student with contemporary knowledge and understanding of open innovation (i.e., how to successfully manage and leverage external knowledge through various mechanisms, including crowdsourcing, corporate- start up collaboration, value networks, partnerships & ecosystems, and create sustainable business models). It will also provide them with the skills and tools necessary to create and manage strategies for open innovation by exploring best practice studies on open innovation in various industries and perspectives, various tools to integrate external knowledge and cross-industry innovation, opportunities and challenges when strategically implementing open innovation.

Job Requirements

• Possess a Master's Degree or professional qualification in the relevant discipline.

• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be a plus.
• Have a relevant work experience
• Must be available to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for a period of 9 weeks.
• Must be available to teach classes during the weekday or Saturday between 8.30AM and 6.30PM and/or weekday evenings from 7pm - 10pm
• Must be able to handle sizeable class, grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to students within a given timeline.

Associates will work closely under the guidance of the course coordinator based in the partner university.
