Job Description

What You’ll Do

Training Content Development

  • Build role-based training materials, process guides, and job aids in EasyGenerator using Oracle Cloud process flows provided by the onshore lead.
  • Develop and maintain Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) in-app guidance, including process guides, smart tips, messages, and contextual help aligned to Oracle Cloud business processes.
  • Update, validate, and optimize OGL content after releases or process changes using analytics, user feedback, SME inputs, and governance standards.
  • Develop module-specific training decks from approved curriculum outlines across Financials, SCM, HCM, and FAW workstreams
  • Create and edit Scribe walk-throughs and screen recordings for end-user reference
  • Format and brand all deliverables to Apps Associates or client-specific templates
  • Maintain and version-control content in the AppsKnowledge library, including module updates and tagging
  • Upload and organize completed content in SharePoint, EasyGenerator, or the client LMS

Change Impact Support

  • Populate and maintain change impact templates by Oracle module using discovery inputs from the onshore CM lead
  • Map current-state vs. future-state process changes by role and workstream
  • Document what changes for each user group — screens, workflows, approvals, and terminology
  • Maintain the living change impact log throughout the project lifecycle and version-control updates
  • Produce impact summary decks for onshore review ahead of stakeholder presentations

Project Tracking & Reporting

  • Build and maintain Smartsheet-based CM and training trackers, RAID logs, and stakeholder registers
  • Set up and update dashboards for training completion rates, attendance, and readiness scores
  • Manage training scheduling grids and session logistics tracking
  • Compile weekly project status updates and executive summary snapshots
  • Track and report training completion rates by role and workstream post-delivery

Communications & Logistics Support

  • Draft communications templates (newsletters, emails, town hall decks) per the approved communication plan
  • Maintain the project communications calendar and send schedule
  • Coordinate training invites, registrations, attendance tracking, and participant materials
  • Compile post-session survey results and knowledge check data for onshore reporting
Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or training content production
  • Demonstrated ability to build structured, role-based learning content from scratch
  • Experience with at least one e-learning authoring tool (EasyGenerator, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar)
  • Strong English writing skills — clear, concise, and audience-appropriate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for training deliverable formatting
  • Experience using project tracking or task management tools (Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, or similar)
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow structured templates and standards consistently
  • Comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous environment with defined handoff points

Preferred

  • Experience with Scribe or similar screen-capture/documentation tools
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (upload, organization, learner path setup)
  • Background supporting ERP, HCM, or enterprise software training (any platform)
  • Experience working within a change management or organizational transformation context
  • Exposure to ADDIE, SAM, or other instructional design methodologies
  • Video or multimedia content production experience (Synthesia, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar)
  • Smartsheet experience specifically, including dashboard and automation setup
Key Competencies

Competency What We’re Looking For Why It Matters Instructional Design Craft Understands how adults learn and can translate complex process information into clear, structured, role-appropriate learning content without being told how to organize it from scratch. Our content has to work for end users who may be anxious about change. Poorly designed materials undermine adoption. Content Authoring Tool Proficiency Can build in EasyGenerator, Scribe, or equivalent with speed and accuracy. Picks up new tools quickly with minimal hand-holding. EasyGenerator and Scribe are our primary production tools. Proficiency here directly determines output velocity. Precision & Standards Adherence Follows templates, naming conventions, and formatting standards exactly. Doesn’t improvise on structure without direction. Flags deviations rather than making unilateral decisions. Client-facing materials must be consistent and branded. Rework is costly and delays delivery. Structured Communication Communicates clearly in writing, flags blockers proactively, and asks specific questions rather than broad ones. Comfortable working across time zones with limited real-time interaction. The model relies on async handoffs. Poor communication breaks the Input → Build → Review → Publish flow. Process Discipline Does not begin work until all inputs are confirmed. Updates the tracker at each step. Submits drafts as drafts — not finished products — with clear notes on anything flagged. Our intake and QA process only works if every resource follows it. This is non-negotiable. Curiosity & Learnability Genuinely interested in how enterprise systems work and eager to build Oracle Cloud knowledge over time. Engages with the AppsKnowledge Oracle 101 curriculum and asks good questions. Oracle experience is not required — but the willingness to develop it quickly is. Our best content producers are the ones who get curious about the systems they’re documenting. Quality Ownership Takes ownership of the quality of their own output before it reaches review. Catches errors, inconsistencies, and formatting issues independently. Onshore leads should be reviewing for content accuracy and client fit — not fixing typos and formatting.

Tools & Technology

Content Authoring Project & Collaboration Delivery & Publishing

  • EasyGenerator (primary LMS authoring)
  • Scribe (process documentation)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint & Word
  • Synthesia (video production)
  • Canva (branded templates)
  • Smartsheet (intake tracker & dashboards)
  • SharePoint (content library)
  • Microsoft Teams (daily communication)
  • Outlook (async coordination)
  • EasyGenerator (LMS publishing)
  • SharePoint (client-facing libraries)
  • Client LMS (as assigned per engagement)
  • Oracle Cloud (for content reference — training provided)
What Success Looks Like

In the first 30 days, you will complete the AppsKnowledge Oracle 101 onboarding curriculum, build your first EasyGenerator module and Scribe walk-through from provided inputs, and demonstrate that you can follow the Input → Build → Review → Publish workflow with minimal rework on your submissions.

At 90 days, you are a reliable production resource on active client engagements — delivering to turnaround targets, flagging issues early, maintaining the tracker accurately, and producing content that consistently passes QA review without major revisions.

Long-term, you develop working familiarity with Oracle Cloud modules across Financials, SCM, and HCM, and your content reflects that context — reducing the depth of input required from onshore leads over time.
