Purpose & Scope
- As a Key Account Lead at Astellas Pharma you will be responsible for the sales performance of the Astellas Oncology portfolio through effective territory management, expert disease area and product knowledge and through the building of strong relationships with HCPs and payer organisations.
- You will report directly into the Business Lead for UAE and be responsible for Dubai and Northern Emirates territory. This is an individual contributor position.
Role and Responsibilities
- Meet the assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned portfolio and geography; Proactively supports team/colleagues to deliver effectively; sets clear expectations, priorities, and objectives utilizing resources for optimum performance.
- Own account-level business planning, forecasting, and performance metrics, including budget accountability.
- Proactively engage with payer stakeholders and procurement and planning teams inside key accounts to shape, streamline access, and overcome reimbursement challenges through the building of strong relationships with HCOs and payer organisations.
- Organizing and executing high-impact meetings and clinical discussions inside the key accounts and with the engagement of key Accounts KOLS across UAE, shaping the brand perception, unlocking treatment opportunities and ensuring on-label for Astellas brands utilisation in line with national and international protocols.
- Continuously enhance therapy and market knowledge, sales and personal skills;
- Maintain the highest level of pharmaceutical business ethics; Fosters a culture where everything is done to enhance value to patients.
- Maintain compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements, applicable guidelines and SOP’s.
Required Qualifications
- Proven MNC experience in the Pharmaceutical industry in direct field sales with demonstrated ability to launch new therapies.
- Must have experience in the UAE market preferably within the private healthcare sector.
- Experience in Oncology Therapy area and / or Hematology, Urology will be highly preferred.
- Fluency in English and Arabic both written and spoken.
- Ability to influence and work effectively within a matrix and multi-cultural environment.
- Extensive user knowledge of MS Office package (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
