Job Description

Location: Windsor, ON

Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for an IT Applications Developer in the organization. As an Associate IT Applications Analyst, your duties encompass managing and maintaining the ERP system, ensuring its smooth operation, and supporting users, including tasks like user access management, system configuration, troubleshooting, and implementing logs and upgrades.

of Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for ERP system users across multiple companies and locations
  • Troubleshoot system issues, resolve errors, and escalate technical problems as required
  • Maintain system configurations, master data integrity, and user access controls
  • Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with business units to understand workflows and identify system improvement opportunities
  • Support and optimize processes across finance, operations, manufacturing, and project management functions
  • Assist in implementing system enhancements, upgrades, and new modules
  • Promote standardization of processes where appropriate while supporting business unit needs
  • Develop, maintain, and improve ERP reports, dashboards, and data extracts
  • Support business users with reporting needs and data interpretation
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across systems
  • Assist leadership with data-driven insights to support decision-making
  • Provide training and guidance to end users on ERP functionality and best practices
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, procedures (EUP’s), and training materials
  • Support onboarding of new employees with ERP system training
  • Encourage user adoption and continuous improvement of system usage
  • Participate in ERP-related projects including enhancements, integrations, and upgrades
  • Support testing, validation, and deployment of system changes
  • Work with IT and external vendors to implement technical solutions
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
  • Ensure adherence to data governance standards and company policies
  • Support audits by providing system data and documentation as required
  • Maintain data integrity across all ERP modules and related systems
  • Assist in developing and enforcing system controls and best practice
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualification:

  • Equivalent to completion of University, Community College or specialized courses up to 2 academic years
  • Some knowledge of IBM System i system administration and DB2
  • Some knowledge of automotive EDI, particularly as it pertains to Honda, Stellantis, VW, Rivian, etc.
  • Ability to work closely and communicate with all groups within the company as well as with vendors and suppliers

Preferred Qualification:

  • Some knowledge of ERP systems [e.g. Epicor CMS, SAP etc], preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • A background in RPG programming would be considered an asset
  • Some understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in the automotive industry

The salary range for this role is $60,000 – $75,000.  An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and business or organizational needs.
