Salary Range

$24.00-$30.00 USD hourly

*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.

What you will be doing

The Inventory & Receiving Clerk owns the accuracy of physical inventory at the Camburg facility and is the control point between what arrives at the dock, what sits on the shelf, and what IFS says is on hand. This role works with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Sales daily and reports to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound shipments, verify quantities and part numbers against purchase orders and packing slips, and inspect material for damage and shortage.
  • Enter receipts into IFS on the day material arrives, reporting any shortages, overages, incorrect parts, or damaged freight to Purchasing and keep receiving documentation on file for audit support.
  • Perform incoming inspection, stage nonconforming material in hold areas, and away accepted material to assigned bin locations.
  • Run scheduled cycle counts across raw material, work in process, and finished goods, researching variances to root cause before processing approved adjustments. Support quarterly and annual physical inventory.
  • Pull, kit, and stage material for work orders, and issue material in IFS with accurate consumption records.
  • Maintain bin locations, part labeling, and storage layout, and alert Purchasing when stock reaches reorder point.
  • Support outbound shipping, process returns to stock and scrap, and operate material handling equipment safely in line with Cal/OSHA and 5S standards

Qualifications: Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of inventory management processes within an ERP system; IFS preferred
  • Purchase order receiving, including verifying material against the purchase order and packing slip and identifying shortages, overages, and substitutions
  • Cycle counting, including researching a variance to root cause before processing an adjustment
  • Quality control at receiving, including incoming inspection and nonconforming material handling
  • High school diploma or equivalent

What you need

  • Accurate counting, data entry, and basic math including unit of measure conversions
  • Ability to work from work orders and bills of material to pull the correct components in the correct quantities
  • Attention to detail and documentation that holds up under audit
  • Works independently, escalates material issues before they stop a build, and communicates clearly with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Sales
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Lift and move material weighing up to 75 pounds, with team lift and equipment available for heavier loads
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs or ladders throughout the shift
  • Warehouse and manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and variable temperatures
