
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a full-time Medical Assisting Technology Instructor position at the Dickson South Campus. This position is grant-funded for one year.

GENERAL DUTIES The Medical Assisting Technology (MAT) Associate Instructor is responsible for the following areas including, but not limited to: on-campus teaching and supervision of MAT students in classroom and clinical settings; evaluating and advising students; maintaining confidential, accurate and complete records on paper and electronically; completing reports as required in a timely manner; participating in the development of the program; participating in recruitment of new students and placement of graduates; maintaining an active advisory committee; and other duties as assigned. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, phlebotomy, electrocardiography, medical math, etc. This position reports to the Director of Healthcare Programs. Work is performed on a set schedule Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Class hours are set Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. As a clock-hour institution, this schedule must be maintained. Clinical hours may vary. Travel to other TCAT Dickson campuses and clinical sites may be required. The position is anticipated to start July 1, 2026. Classes are anticipated to start September 2026.
SALARY: $50,894-$61,074 per year ($26.10-$31.32 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology -- Dickson guidelines and directly related experience.
