Job Description

CREC's Discovery Academy is seeking a Full-Time Associate Instructor to work with individual and group student instruction, behavioral management, and various other classroom tasks as assigned. Additionally, associate instructors may be required to provide targeted interventions in literacy or math. Experience with data collection and analysis is highly desirable. Associate Instructors may also be called on to substitute when classroom teachers are absent.


Requires a Bachelor's degree in education or related field. Previous experience (2-5 years) working with a diverse population of primary-aged students within a public school is desired. The ability to work with others and to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers is also required. Early childhood certified applicants are encouraged to apply.
