
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for the full-time, on-site position of Associate Instructor in the Cosmetology Program at the Clarksville Campus.

GENERAL DUTIES The Cosmetology Associate Instructor is responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction in conjunction with a second full-time Cosmetology instructor to prepare students for employment as Cosmetologists. The Cosmetology Associate Instructor will develop, plan, and prepare a complete and progressive course of study including lesson plans, assignments, and instructional aides; monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; enter and maintain student records on a regular basis in the college’s student records management system; assist with recruitment, placement, and follow-up of students; and other duties as assigned. This position must also maintain good public relations with business and industry, maintain an active advisory committee and cooperate with outside agencies. All instruction is delivered in-person. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Class schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This is not a remote position.
SALARY: $50,894-$61,074 per year ($26.10-$31.32 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology guidelines and directly related experience.
