Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate Industrial Security Analyst to work in our Roy, UT location. Candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and the DoD Manuel 5205.07 SAP Manuel . This is a full-time position in support of the Sentinel program.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a fast-paced, high-profile, program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers

  • Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.

  • Conduct security security audits

  • Assist with Media Issuance, Accountability, and Destruction

  • Serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing, and controlling all classified documentation (hard copy and electronic media) entering or leaving the facility

  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on action(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program

  • Submit, review, and verify Visit Requests through queries to government security databases and systems

  • Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements

  • Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures

  • Maintain access control, including UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS)

  • Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance

  • Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application, and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCG)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of related experience; OR 1 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree

  • Performing and familiar with PERSEC duties

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences and all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communications

  • Experience managing Security Vendors and keeping projects on schedule

  • This position requires an active DoD SECRET Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.

  • Current Top-Secret clearance

  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.

  • OPSEC program experience

  • Self-starter with minimal supervision

  • Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications

Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
