The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Your new responsibilities

• Managing customer sample orders from order entry when needed, organizing sample supply from internal departments as well as keep contact with requestor in case to align on order and shipment.
• Support in general sample center team in cases of complex/critical sample requests or open orders. Backing escalations and follow-up actions towards organization and management.
• Coordinate shipment release and push Emergency Shipments where necessary.
• Liaison between Customer service, Sales department, Supply Chain, Traffic, Engineering and manufacturing team.
• Setup and maintain reporting analysis tools and tracking for sample status. Analyze reporting data and formulate findings and conclusions.
• Backing support which involve active communication with different groups of people from all levels of management.
• Handle Special Sample Build Request where necessary and ensure timely delivery of orders to reduce backlog and delinquent.
• Good to have LEDs semiconductor background, +ve mindset, patience, helpful and willing to learn attitude.

What we look for

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Supply Chain processes within the Semiconductor industry
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations, including planning, procurement, and logistics
• Knowledge of SAP systems is an added advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to speak Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu will be an added advantage
• Comfortable and willing to work in a hybrid working arrangement
