Job Description

The Associate HR Generalist supports the delivery of core HR services, including onboarding, employee data administration, employee relations support, total rewards administration, reporting, and offboarding activities. This role focuses on transactional execution, documentation, and coordination, while escalating non‑standard or complex matters to HR Generalists or HR Business Partners. The Associate HR Generalist Partners closely with HR Generalists, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure consistent, compliant, and timely HR service delivery.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Performance Management & Talent Reviews
• Support performance management processes by tracking timelines and completion status.
• Send reminders and standard communications to managers and employees.
• Assist with preparation of materials for calibration and talent review sessions.
• Respond to basic MyHR process and system questions and route issues as needed.
Inclusion & Belonging
• Assist with coordination of Inclusion & Belonging initiatives.
• Compile standard reports and participation data as requested.
• Support communications and logistics for Inclusion & Belonging activities.
Talent Acquisition
• Support recruiting administration, including requisition coordination, offer documentation, and onboarding tasks.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling and system access requests.
• Track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding actions.
Employee Relations
• Issue standard employee letters and policy communications using approved templates.
• Respond to routine employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies.
• Track employee relations cases and escalate issues outside standard guidelines.
Total Rewards
• Support benefit enrollment communications and employee inquiries.
• Assist with processing compensation and benefit changes under direction.
• Create and manage SNOW tickets related to benefits and compensation administration.
• Support annual compensation and benefits initiatives through tracking and reminders.
Employee Mobility
• Respond to basic employee mobility inquiries.
• Coordinate documentation and data collection for mobility requests.
• Liaise with Mobility COE for routine requests and status updates.
Talent Analytics
• Compile and maintain standard HR reports and dashboards.
• Validate data accuracy and resolve discrepancies in HR systems.
• Provide data extracts to support HR reporting and analysis.
Training & Career Development
• Support employee training administration and mandatory training tracking.
• Assist employees with HR self‑service tools and learning systems.
• Track completion of required training and follow up on overdue items.
Recognition
• Support administration of employee recognition programs.
• Process recognition requests and maintain related records.
Strategic Workforce Planning & National Content
• Maintain job and employee data accuracy to support workforce reporting.
Other Responsibilities
• Partner with HR Generalists and COEs on global initiatives.
• Support employee offboarding, including documentation and system updates.
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
• Comply with HR systems, data governance, and process standards.
• Identify process issues and escalate improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Zero-three (0-3) years of experience in HR administration, coordination, or a related role.
  • Basic knowledge of HR policies and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience using HR information systems or data entry platforms preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees and managers.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
