Job Description

The Associate HR Business Partner will work with the VP Global Operations (Europe & Pakistan) in supporting the business as it pertains to Recruitment & Retention, Talent Development & Management and Employee Engagement and Relations. This position reports into the Regional HR Director located in Singapore, and will be part of the Global HR Team.

People and Culture

  • Associate Engagement: Take and maintain pulse of the organization through informal and formal associate surveys. Provide recommendations to leaders about strengthening engagement. Implement those recommendations that are agreed upon
  • Associate Relations: Consult with and coach managers and associates on all aspects of associate-related issues including performance concerns, policies and procedures interpretation, misconduct investigations and terminations
  • Culture: Maintain the company's People First culture by fostering a positive work environment for all associates, adhering to policies and procedures, as well as managing associate recognition programs

Coaching & Consulting

  • Provide advice and counsel to business leaders on a wide array of considerations including team design, team dynamics, retention and engagement, and bench strength as well as individual coaching for enhanced performance
  • HR Metrics: Track and analyze staffing, retention, turnover, exit interview data and other information necessary to provide qualitative and quantitative insights
  • Work with the Learning COE to manage the succession planning process including talent profiles, 6 block matrix, successor plans and development action commitments; identify the major strengths & opportunities
  • Ensure associate development plans are in place and activated, thereby ensuring strong bench strength is in place for the future
  • Planning: In partnership with other global HR leaders, create talent plans and provide the leadership to implement in client groups

Recruitment & Retention

  • Work with hiring managers on their talent resourcing needs
  • Own the talent acquisition process for Europe & Pakistan, ensuring that we hire the right talent for the business in terms of technical and people competencies
  • Owning the onboarding and orientation process for all new associates

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Tertiary degree in business or Human Resources
  • 4-6 years of experience as a generalist HR manager, preferably in a retail organization
  • Proficient in Turkey’s HR practices & employment laws, performance management, coaching and employee relations
  • Competency in Portugal, Italy, Pakistan HR practices and employment laws an advantage
  • Experience with Oracle systems an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Provide resources of training to reinstate the strategies agreed upon with the business leaders.
