Title: Associate HR Business Partner

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Job Type: Full Time | Exempt

Travel: Up to 25% local and regional travel

Who You Are:

The Associate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for providing support to leaders and team members across an assigned market, state, or business function. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted HR resource, partnering with operational leaders to support employee relations, performance management, engagement, compliance, workforce planning, and HR operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional looking to deepen their business partnership skills while gaining exposure to strategic HR initiatives, leadership coaching, organizational effectiveness, and multi-site operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with leaders to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support
  • Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and workplace concerns
  • Support performance management, coaching, corrective actions, and talent development initiatives
  • Champion employee engagement, retention, and culture-building programs
  • Facilitate employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and HR systems support
  • Collaborate with Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Relations teams on employee support matters
  • Support leave administration, accommodations, workers' compensation, and unemployment processes
  • Analyze workforce data and identify trends related to turnover, attendance, engagement, and staffing
  • Conduct field visits to strengthen relationships and support business needs
  • Assist with organizational changes, workforce planning, and HR projects

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, compliance, or HR generalist functions
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and fact-finding
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Even Better If:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or progress toward HR certification
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations
  • Knowledge of leave administration, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and unemployment processes
  • Experience in cannabis, retail, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries
  • Exposure to unionized environments or labor relations is a plus
