Position: Associate Housing Manager
Department: Housing/Associate Services
Purpose: Assists with the management of all functions of the Housing Department to include overseeing housing team, housing cleanliness, rooming assignments, transportation and housing events.
Reports to: Associate Services Director
Essential Functions:
• Schedules and supervises housing associates.
• Plan for and communicate with international associates prior to arrival.
• Coordinate transportation for international associates prior to arrival.
• Plan and coordinate onboarding for international associates.
• Conduct international check in meetings
• Participates in planning and execution of associate events planned by the Human Resources Department.
• Receive requests for service maintenance, prioritizes work orders and handles each in the most efficient manner.
• Performs recurring inspections on facilities, grounds, and common areas.
• Conduct associate move-in and move-out inspections.
• Ensure all housing information is updated, to include housing spreadsheet, rent deductions, and housing paperwork.
• Clearly and accurately document all associate issues on a timely basis following counseling and disciplinary procedures.
• Plan and execute quarterly associate events and cultural activities
• Perform other duties as assigned
Working Environment:
• Interior and exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in human resources or hospitality preferred.
• Must be flexible with schedule to include some weekends
• Must be available to respond to emergencies at housing facility as they arise.
• Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Products.
• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to coach, counsel, advise, mentor, and motivate associates and managers at all levels.
• Prior hotel Human Resources experience preferred.
