Job Title: Associate, Healthcare Investment Banking

In a leadership capacity, the Associate will play a critical role in the origination, structuring, and execution of complex capital markets and M&A transactions within the biotech and life sciences sectors. The position involves substantial client exposure, cross-functional coordination, and sector-driven thought leadership. Key responsibilities include: leading transaction execution across equity and debt financings, M&A advisory, recapitalizations, and restructurings, serving as the central coordinator among clients, internal teams, and external advisors. The position requires advanced financial modeling expertise to deliver actionable insights that guide valuations and deal structuring, along with deep knowledge of the biotech and life sciences industry to provide sector-specific insights. Core responsibilities include overseeing diligence, synthesizing findings into investment recommendations, and engaging with clients on origination, pitch development, execution and long-term relationship management. The candidate will also mentor and train junior team members, contributing t talent development, recruitment, and team performance. This leadership role combines excellence industry specialization, and client coverage to drive high-quality outcomes.

Minimum Requirements Requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Requires three (3) years of experience in Financial or Investment Analyst role. Experience must include: Execution of M&A, debt, or equity transactions, including responsibility for drafting Confidential Information Memoranda, management/lender presentations, SEC filings, and financial models. Development and delivery of client-facing presentations to board-level or C-suite executives. Construction and audit of complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, merger models, operating models, used in live transaction contexts. Maintain client communication to support execution and long-term relationship management. Coordination of third-party due diligence providers, including legal counsel, accounting firms, and/or industry consultants. Supervise junior team members, providing guidance, reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and quality. Utilize advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial/industry data platforms (S&P Capital IQ, FactSet, Dealogic, Alphasense) for company and market analysis. $125,000 – $175,000 per year.
