Department/Team: Government Contract Management
Job Title: Government Contract Processor
Shift Timings: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM - Should be willing to work from the office.
The Government Contract Processor is responsible for managing and processing multiple government Proposals including Bids, RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and Tenders, ensuring timely completion and submission.
Key Responsibilities:
•Proposal Preparation:
oPrepare proposals for all assigned Bids, RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, ensuring all requirements are met and our value proposition is clearly demonstrated.
oConduct kick-off and follow-up calls to track the proposal’s status from initiation to completion.
oWork closely with the legal team to review terms and conditions, flagging any exceptions.
oCollaborate with the Pricing Manager to finalize pricing for inclusion in proposals.
oReview and update proposals based on feedback from onsite stakeholders.
oCreate and update reusable artifacts to reduce turnaround time.
•Document Management:
oGather necessary documents, including legal and critical reviews.
oTrack progression in Salesforce.com to ensure deadlines are met.
oManage data of documents for future reference.
•Support and Reporting:
oProvide ongoing support for processing proposals.
oReport on progress, additional requirements, and completion to relevant stakeholders.
oLiaise with various internal teams, such as Pricing, Legal, Sales/Account Management, HR, and Branches, to ensure smooth processing.
Education, Qualifications, and Skills:
•Experience:
o1-2 years of experience in proposal preparation with a basic understanding of government contract processes.
oPrior experience working with US teams/customers is preferred.
•Skills:
oStrong verbal and written communication skills.
oAbility to multitask and manage multiple proposals independently.
oExcellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
oExperience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
oAbility to work independently and cross-functionally in various online web applications.
oCritical thinking, quantitative analytical ability, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
oTeamwork-oriented and responsive to questions.
oAbility to work and make sound decisions under pressure.
•Education:
oGraduate/Postgraduate degree in any stream.
