We are looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Intern to join our EMEA Marketing team. As part of this team, you will primarily support the planning, coordination and execution of marketing activities for the English Language Learning business in Spain and Portugal.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager Spain & Portugal and EMEA campaigns team you will also collaborate with Sales, regional and global marketing colleagues, external agencies, suppliers and business partners. This internship will provide hands-on experience across integrated campaigns, digital marketing, content, events and performance reporting.

As one of our interns, you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You’ll be assigned to a team to support real-life projects that bring our products and services to life and are ready to launch to our learners. On-the-job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the Spain and Portugal Marketing team in the planning and execution of regional and EMEA marketing campaigns, adapting them to the needs of the local markets.
  • Help coordinate campaign calendars, deliverables, deadlines and approvals across internal teams and external partners.
  • Prepare clear creative and content briefs for agencies, designers and other suppliers.
  • Support the production and localisation of marketing materials, including emails, landing pages, digital advertising, newsletters, presentations, catalogues and sales enablement materials.
  • Assist with the organisation and promotion of webinars, conferences, customer events and other marketing activities.
  • Help create and adapt content for Pearson’s owned digital channels, including websites, blogs and email communications.
  • Liaise with Sales teams, agencies, suppliers and business partners to gather information and coordinate marketing requests.
  • Monitor campaign performance and help prepare reports using relevant KPIs and insights.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to identify relevant trends and opportunities.
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the Marketing team and follow up on marketing queries and requests.

Skills and Experience

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or a related field.
  • Fluent in Spanish and a good command of English, with a minimum B2 level; C1 would be an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage several tasks and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, content creation, analytics, or design tools would be an advantage.
