Experience : Over 10 years of experience in domain (OPEX, MRO, Services, Logistics)

Competencies

Technical :

  • Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, contracting, and negotiations
  • Hands-on experience with RFX processes and e-auctions
  • Working knowledge of S2P tools (GEP SMART, Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa, or similar)
  • Strong analytics and data-driven aptitude, including spend analysis and savings tracking

Behavioural :

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior business leaders
  • Ability to drive change and standardization in a multi-site environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies, for OPEX categories, aligned with business and cost objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Site Heads, Department Heads, Site Finance, Central Finance, and Legal
  • Translate business requirements into sourcing strategies while balancing cost, risk, quality, and service.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives including RFI, RFP, RFQ, and e-auctions across categories.
  • Design, negotiate, and manage long-term contracts and framework agreements in collaboration with Site4 stakeholders, Legal and Finance.
  • Establish and govern catalogs and preferred supplier lists to drive compliance and buying efficiency.
  • Ensure disciplined usage of sourcing modules, contract management, catalogs, and spend analytics.
  • Drive OPEX savings through structured levers, such as Spend analytics and opportunity identification, Specification rationalization and standardization, Demand management and supplier consolidation and Idea generation workshops with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Track, validate, and report savings with Finance, ensuring benefits realization.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier, commercial, and operational risks.

MBA or Master in relevant field
