The legal team at Southcentral Foundation is growing, and we're looking for experienced attorneys to join the Legal Department . As an Associate General Counsel or Senior Associate General Counsel, you'll serve as a trusted legal advisor, partnering with leaders across the organization to provide strategic legal counsel on a wide range of legal, regulatory, and operational issues. This role offers the opportunity to help shape organizational decisions, manage complex legal matters, and support SCF's mission of improving the health and well-being of Alaska Native and American Indian people. Substantive practice areas may include contract law, employment law, healthcare law, Indian law, commercial real estate and commercial construction transactions, Intellectual Property law, Information Technology/cyber law, and Artificial Intelligence law. This position could be full time or part time and may include a mix of onsite and telework.
Hiring Range: Associate General Counsel: $138,424.00 to $189,176.00
Hiring Range: Senior Associate General Counsel: $166,296.00 to $232,828.27
of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Associate General Counsel/Senior Associate General Counsel is responsible for providing quality legal advice and services related to a wide range of SCF’s legal and operational interests as directed by the Senior Associate General Counsel and/or General Counsel.
Qualifications:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services
