As the Associate General Counsel, you oversee all legal aspects of our organization, supporting General Counsel in providing legal guidance, support, and advice to senior management on various matters.

The desired candidate will have top-tier law firm experience in civil litigation, including general liability, who is seeking to transition to an in-house role focused on litigation. The Associate General Counsel will report directly to the CEO and General Counsel and will be a member of a small and congenial law department.
The Associate General Counsel acts as a supervising litigation attorney and internal risk advisor to assigned business units and provides creative solutions to business and legal issues arising out of litigated matters nationally. The role will also be responsible for handling any legal matters retained in-house as well as marshaling evidence required for litigation matters, responding to subpoenas and pre-litigation demands disputes, and managing requests for information and other inquiries. In addition to litigation, responsibilities include negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts with internal clients, strategic partners, vendors, and other parties. The right candidate will have exceptional drafting and negotiating skills, good analytical and practical problem-solving skills, and strong business judgment. This candidate will also oversee compliance with applicable laws and regulations and conduct legal research and analysis to stay current on changes that may impact the Company by developing and/or updating policies, practices, and guidelines.
