Join Our Client Protection Team as a Fraud Risk Investigator

The Client Protection Enterprise Support team works to protect our clients, their accounts, and their information from fraudulent activity.

In this role, you will review and investigate fraud alerts and referrals, validate client activity and identity, and identify potential fraud, including account takeover and familial fraud. This is a strong opportunity for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable making decisions, and interested in fraud prevention and investigations within financial services.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough reviews of fraud alerts, referrals, and suspected fraudulent activity, independently or with minimal guidance, to help protect clients, agents, and the company.

  • Document fraud reviews and case findings clearly and concisely, including relevant facts, actions taken, findings, and rationale for case disposition.
  • Take appropriate action when client accounts may be compromised, including securing accounts, supporting transaction reversal efforts, and contacting clients to validate transactions when required.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients impacted by fraud-related events, using sound judgment and professionalism when addressing questions involving sensitive situations.
  • Manage assigned fraud alert queues and provide significant case updates and escalations to management as appropriate.
  • Analyze fraud activity and trends to help identify emerging issues, recurring behaviors, potential process gaps, and areas of risk.
  • Share findings and recommend potential process or control improvements to management based on fraud reviews and observed trends.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of relevant administrative systems, products, services, client records, fraud detection systems, and fraud-related procedures.
  • Build effective relationships with business partners to support meaningful fraud reviews and recommendations.
  • Stay current on relevant fraud trends, industry practices, and evolving fraud risks.
  • Participate in special projects and other assignments supporting the Client Protection Enterprise Support team.

What You'll Bring
