The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Financial Analyst (Level 2) to support our Air Dominance Proprietary Programs in Hazelwood, Missouri. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. Available positions include roles in Financial Operations, Financial Controls, and Material Cost Analysis These roles will collectively support the execution of a proprietary development program. Position Responsibilities:
Financial Operations: Financial Operations professionals will support the creation and management of the program's budget baseline, analyze financial data including Earned Value Management (EVM) data, and provide insights to improve financial performance. These roles require strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
Analysis of financial data and the preparation of reports to aid decision-making and budget monitoring
Review of Earned Value Management (EVM) data to identify performance trends and
support month-end and quarterly closing activities
Preparation of financial models to assess business opportunities and risks, assistance with presentations for senior management, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and policies
Material Cost Analysis The analyst selected for this position will be responsible for analyzing material costs, managing material budget baselines, developing cost models, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include:
Development and maintenance of cost models to support the budgeting and forecasting of material and subcontracted efforts
Management of Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics related to material and subcontractors
Collaboration with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production teams to gather data on material needs and costs
Preparation of reports for management and monitoring changes in supplier pricing
Support of cost control measures and best practices
Financial Controls: The Financial Controls Analyst selected for this position will be responsible for the development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs), management of the program budget, and the preparation of various contractual cost reporting deliverables. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, knowledge of applicable policies and procedures, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
Development of the Program's Long Range Business Plan (LRBP), and tracking performance against the plan on a monthly basis
Lead the quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) process
Preparation of contractual cost reporting deliverables (IPMDAR, CSDR, etc.)
Review of Earned Value Management data to identify trends and discrepancies in financial performance
Periodic updates of the Program's business case
Maintenance and improvement of financial reporting tools and dashboards in a proprietary environment
Compliance with internal controls and financial policies
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Currently have a Bachelor’s degree or higher
1+ years of experience in finance-related roles such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis
1+ years of work experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
1+ years of experience in budgeting and forecasting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment
