What you will do
The Associate Finance Manager, Sales Finance is responsible for overseeing critical processes related to business planning, trade plans, and customer profitability:
Key Responsibilities
Identify growth opportunities, influence business partners and drive effective decision making
Provide financial modelling for investment proposals and plans, including customer-specific modelling scenarios for categories/brands, as well as provide recommendations and action plans
Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the Sales and Finance teams
Proactively lead key Sales Finance processes including trade investment reviews, customer profitability, and prior year post audit reviews (including reviews with Finance leadership and Sales leadership)
Partnering with Commercial teams to develop business cases
Facilitating trade and financial review meetings with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders
Analyze financial viability of Customer investments, with focus on NTS, GP and ROI improvements
Provide recommendations to improve Customer and Enterprise Profitability
Be an active member of the Finance team and work closely alongside other team members to ensure accurate and robust P&L
Lead and maintain a strong compliance environment and mindset
Serve as a technical specialist and provide guidance to team members
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
6-8 years of experience in finance and/or accounting
University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
Communication: Effective communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with Finance ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Tableau)
Desired Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
Strong P&L and trade acumen with the ability to influence senior business partners within a CPG environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team
Strong attention to detail with exceptional planning and organizing abilities
Big Picture orientation with the ability to zoom in and out as needed
Proven ability to build relationships and credibility with cross-functional partners
Self-motivated, independent, and proactive mindset
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across the organization
What’s in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$92,600.00 - $142,600.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
