We are searching for the best talent for Associate Finance Manager, MedTech Malaysia.

Purpose:

The Associate Finance Manager will partner closely with commercial leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive financial performance, strategic decision-making, and business growth across the Surgery business in Malaysia.

This role serves as a trusted finance business partner,providingfinancial planning, analysis, governance, and commercial insights that support sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls.

You willbe responsible for

  • Leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles in partnership with local, regional, and global finance teams to support strategic business objectives

  • Providing financial leadership and decision support to the Surgery business byidentifyinggrowth opportunities, investment priorities, risks, and performance drivers

  • Driving business performance analysis through sales reporting, pricing rebategovernance,gross profit evaluations, price-volume analysis, portfolio reviews, and operating expense management

  • Partnering with Commercial Excellence and business leaders to incorporate market trends, competitive intelligence, reimbursement dynamics, and customer insights into financial planning

  • Supporting portfolio investment decisions and resource allocation to maximize business growth, profitability, and return on investment

  • Collaborating with Supply Chain and commercial partners to support demand planning, inventory management, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes

  • Ensuring financial governance and compliance through adherence to internal controls, company policies, SOX, HCC, FCPA, tax, statutory, and audit requirements

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and business decision-making capabilities

  • Otherapplicablemarkethosting financeresponsibilities.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Accounting, or a related discipline; ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MBA, or other professional finance qualifications are preferred

  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device industries

  • Strong financial planning and analysis capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and P&L management

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and support strategic business decisions through data-driven financial insights

  • Strong understanding of financial governance, internal controls, compliance frameworks, and audit requirements

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across functions, regions, and leadership levels within a matrix organisation

  • Experience working with ERP and planning systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Anaplan, or equivalent platforms is highly desirable

  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
