As an Associate Federal Tax 2, you will engage in providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. You will assist businesses in navigating complex tax regulations and optimizing their tax positions within our Tax practice. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.
In this role at PwC, you will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. You will be expected to adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting varying challenges and scope. Responsibilities
- Analyzing financial data to support tax compliance and strategy initiatives
- Preparing and filing tax returns to assist clients in meeting their tax obligations
- Reviewing and validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Drafting tax documents and conducting tax research to optimize client tax positions
- Collaborating with team members to navigate complex tax regulations and provide client support
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform tax planning and compliance strategies
- Applying accounting practices and tax auditing skills to enhance client service delivery
- Engaging in project management tasks to coordinate tax compliance activities
- Utilizing corporate tax planning techniques to minimize risks of non-compliance
- Building commercial awareness and understanding of the business context to deliver value
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity).
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
