This position is tied to the 2-year International Early Career Program, that can support you to kick-start a career at Octapharma via international intra-group rotations and developmental sessions. See more program information here (länk International Early Career Program)

This position is based at our production site in Stockholm, and during the first two years you will take part in 2–3 rotations of approximately 1–3 months each at our other production sites in Europe.

Your main tasks and responsibilities

• Develop towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in microbiology and aseptic operations, supporting commercial manufacturing
• Lead and contribute to microbiological deviation investigations, including root cause analysis and development of effective CAPAs
• Actively participate in crossfunctional assignments and strategic quality improvement projects
• Participate in internal and external inspections, and manage followup activities and documentation
• Continuously build deep expertise in sterility assurance as part of your development journey within the Early Career Program

Your expertise and ideal skill set

• Recent university graduate within natural sciences, biotechnology, microbiology or similar
• Up to 3 years of relevant work experience (excluding internships) ideally including exposure to quality assurance, or pharmaceutical production environments
• Strong interest in developing into a sterility assurance expert/SME within a global biopharmaceutical company
• Knowledge of GMP and interest in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Structured, analytical and confident in advanced data handling and digital systems
• Willingness to relocate internationally for short-term rotations as part of the Early Career Program
• Fluency in Swedish and English (German or French is a merit)
  
  

Your department - where you make an impact

• You will be part of Quality in Operations Sterility Assurance, within the Quality Unit, responsible for ensuring aseptic status of our facilities and our products
• The department ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and secures robust sterility assurance systems across manufacturing
• You will join a team of 16 dedicated colleagues and report directly to the Head of Sterility Assurance
• As part of your development track, you will collaborate closely with production, QA, QC and global functions to build broad, hands‑on expertise

The Recruitment Process

• Our recruitment process includes occupational psychological assessments, interviews, and reference checks. For the two final candidates, participation in an Assessment Center in Lachen, Switzerland, on June 9–10 is mandatory. All related travel expenses will be covered by Octapharma.
• For the final candidate, alcohol and drug testing will be carried out by our occupational health provider.
