This Opportunity

The Associate, Enterprise Systems will support
GISI Consulting Group’s (GCG) Operating Companies (OPCOs) by supporting the
administration and operational responsibilities associated with managing and
maintaining several GCG systems and services. The role ensures users have appropriate access
to applications and services, ensures software licensing and procurement
activities are effectively managed and completed in accordance with
organisational policies, and acts as an escalation point for assigned GCG
systems and technologies. The ideal consultant will have 2+ years of relevant
ICT experience and demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure
administration.

This is a corporate fixed-term role, initially
for 6 months with the possibility of extension to 9 months.


Location

This role will be based remotely in Australia.

To be
considered for this position, you must have valid work rights in the country
where the role is based. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for
this role.

Reporting Lines

  • The Associate will work under the direction of the SVP, IT Operations (based in the US)
  • This role will have regular meetings with the Cybersecurity and Compliance workstream teams and key stakeholders from the OPCOs

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

Systems Administration

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related workloads
  • Administer Microsoft Azure resources, resource groups and subscriptions
  • Monitor system health, service availability, vendor advisories, and platform changes
  • Assist with troubleshooting escalated application, access, and licensing issues
  • Maintain system documentation, administration standards, operating procedures, and knowledge articles
  • Support audit, compliance, and security initiatives relating to managed platforms.

Licensing Management

  • Manage software licensing across supported platforms
  • Track license usage and allocation
  • Ensure software subscriptions remain compliant with vendor licensing requirements.
  • Produce regular licensing reports, forecasts, and renewal summaries
  • Coordinate license assignments for employees, contractors, consultants, and external partners
  • Manage procurement requests for software subscriptions, cloud services, and related technology purchases
  • Coordinate obtaining quotations, purchase approvals and procurement documentation
  • Maintain procurement records, renewal schedules, and software asset registers.

Operational Support

  • Provide Level 3 support for supported applications and services
  • Work with service desk teams to resolve escalated incidents and service requests
  • Develop user guides, knowledge articles, and administration runbooks
  • Participate in ICT projects

Essential
Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or
    equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant ICT experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365
    administration
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure
    administration
  • Experience managing software licensing and
    subscription services
  • Experience supporting procurement processes
  • Experience managing SaaS platforms in medium to
    large organisations
