As an Engineer within our System Protection group, you will provide cost-effective engineering solutions needed for upgrading, expanding, repairing, maintaining and reliably operating transmission system assets safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements. This job entails providing conceptual designs that conform to Company protection philosophies such that when electrical faults occur they are quickly removed from the system. This job will also provide real-time, interactive, direct technical support to region and district transmission organizations in all areas of system protection such as calculating fault duties, locating faults, performing technical studies and providing guidance in the analysis of relay operations. ed grid technologies to assess grid performance and prepare the system for future challenges, including load growth, plant retirements, and renewable integration.
This is a hybrid position, with 3 office days minimum, based in our 777 Main St – Fort Worth location. We are considering applicants with multiple experience levels and skills. Please review the “education & experience” section for more details regarding each level
