Associate Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering
LSEG's Post Trade Technology Division is looking for an Associate Engineer for our Securities Technology - Millennium Central Clearing Platform (MCCP) Environment Management / SRE Team in Malabe, Sri Lanka. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a role in driving the adoption of SRE practices within the team while becoming a technical expert in MCCP Platform and underlying infrastructure.
The candidate will work closely with development, QA, operation, and security teams to design, build, automate processes, streamline workflows, reduction of toil and improve resilience & availability of environments & underlying infrastructure.
They would be required to work on morning, day or night shift based on UK time according to the monthly roster and expected to work from the office covering at least 3 days per week in hybrid mode. Out-of-hours support overnight and across weekends and bank holidays may be needed.
Interest in building strong business knowledge in addition to technical skills is valuable for working with business teams during investigations. They need to work closely with domain & technical experts and build understanding of the domain & underlying technologies used by the applications.
Must be self-motivating with the ability to prioritize work and should be able to learn and adapt to fast paced environment.
