Introduction

Applies engineering knowledge and technical skills to support semiconductor manufacturing operations. Works on assignments that are generally standard in nature while following established procedures and operational guidelines. Supports manufacturing activities to achieve production targets, quality objectives, and operational excellence. Uses analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve routine operational issues while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Job

• Provide engineering support for semiconductor process operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient manufacturing performance.
• Provide oversight and guidance on operational activities to ensure productive utilization of manufacturing resources, processes, and equipment to meet daily operational goals.
• Support achievement of key manufacturing metrics including Cycle Time, Throughput, Prototype Success Rate, Fab Output, and Shipment Plan commitments.
• Support automated manufacturing and assembly tools to ensure operational readiness and manufacturing efficiency.
• Partner with Engineering and Industrial Engineering teams to ensure accurate assumptions, constraints, and Units Per Hour (UPH) are maintained within capacity planning and manufacturing systems.
• Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
• Investigate manufacturing and process-related issues and support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Drive manufacturing efficiency, quality, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with established manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and operational best practices.
• Support continuous improvement programs to enhance overall manufacturing performance.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
• Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed.

Other Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operational goals through effective execution of assigned responsibilities.
• Participate in problem-solving, process optimization, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, and cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation.
• Typically performs one or more of the following in the capacity of an individual contributor, as directed and/or independently.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a high-volume manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, production operations, and equipment systems.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to work in a shift-based manufacturing environment.
