
[What the role is]
This role sits within the Power System Operation Division (PSOD), which ensures the secure and reliable operation of Singapore’s power system. It supports 24/7 monitoring of the electricity market, generation dispatch, and transmission system, including reporting, data analysis, coordination with power stations, and power system studies.
[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities:
To assist the Control Manager in the realtime (24x7) monitoring of the electricity market, generation dispatch and transmission system to ensure the secure and reliable operation ofthe power system. Duties include:
i.Preparation of advisory notices/ reports for publication in the Electricity Market;
ii.Compilation of operational data for analysis;
iii.Coordinating with power stations on generation dispatch, and
iv.Assisting the Control Manager to perform power system simulation studies.
[What we are looking for]
Requirements:
•Education in Power Engineering background is preferred.
•Relevant work experience in the power sector would be an advantage.
•Able to work both independently and also as a team.
•Candidate is required to perform shift duty.
