Role Definition:

Designs, develops, and releases drivetrain subsystem components for Manual and automatic Transmission’s and its subsystem components for application of small wheel Loader, Telehandler and Backhoe Loader. Providing day‑to‑day engineering support for NPI, CPI/VAVE and Localisation

Responsibilities

  • Assist and drive initiatives to improve for Cost, Quality and Velocity for current transmission product.
  • First level point of contact for different Engineering activities e.g. Change Management, Deviations and warranty
  • Preparing CAD, DFMEA, DVPR, Tolerance stack-up, E-BOM for product and its subsystems
  • Preparing and presenting topics in design review for CFT approvals
  • Analyse root cause for field failure issues and provide corrective actions.
  • Use Knowledge of different manufacturing process e.g. Forging, Casting, Machining, Heat treatment and Gear Manufacturing

Degree Requirement

Degree required - Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 6 years relevant experience.

Level: Extensive Experience:

  • Computer-Aided Design & Engineering: Strong experience in Creo for component design, with working knowledge of Teamcenter for configuration, release, and lifecycle management

Level: Working Knowledge:

  • Product Design & Development: Applies practical design skills to modify and validate drivetrain components, ensuring solutions are robust, manufacturable and production‑ready.
  • Technical Excellence Uses sound engineering principles and standards to resolve technical issues and support prototype builds, testing and production support.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly communicates technical issues and recommendations to cross‑functional, global teams to enable timely resolution and alignment.

Location: Hosur Drivetrain Facility – 5 days’ work from

Relocation is available for this position.Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.
