The Role


Our Rail & Metro team is looking for an Associate Electrical Designer to lead the design, coordination, and delivery of major Rail Transport Infrastructure projects across Brisbane and nationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept design and delivery of rail projects using AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and Revizto
  • Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
  • Build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally and contribute to effective client relationship management
  • Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and co-ordination of project deliverables
  • Mentoring and assisting with the professional development of junior engineers and designers

About You

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Advanced Diploma
  • 8+ years’ experience within an engineering design consultancy
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Revizto
  • Demonstrated experience in transport infrastructure
  • Solid understanding of Australian standards and local regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Relevant working rights
