JOB PURPOSE:
This role is accountable to enable FRMC to be a high‑performing team, by providing relevant written standards and building team capabilities, simplifying and standardising ways of working for maximum efficiency, monitoring team performance to drive continuous improvement, and proactively anticipating emerging and upcoming regulatory risks and future business needs.
This role is a team leader role, who motivates, focuses, cares for, and develops team members by creating clarity on priorities, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, and supporting each person’s to keep growing.
The role is fundatmental to FRMC for delivering excellent services, focusing on future regulatory risks impacting Global Finance and drive innovative solutions for controls optimisations and continuous improvements
KEY ACTIVITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scanning proactively the horizon for strategic risks and new/updated regulatory/industry expectations impacting Global Finance, issuing preliminary assessments and assign FRMC personnel to specific programmes to mitigate these strategic risks and/or meet new requirements.
Pioneering and delivering changes and continuous improvement, ensuring FRMC is meeting upcoming regulatory expectations before their enforcement.
Driving controls optimisation projects, i.e. identifying and assessing opportunities to improve control performance and testing (including with external benchmarking). The role will lead proof of value (project plan and funding, execution oversight and outcome assessment); if outcome is positive, this role will feed into larger programs (managed by other teams such as GPOs, CI projects, etc.) for large scale deployments.
Leading management monitoring on various activities performed by FRMC, such as application of the written standards, training compliance, GoA monitoring, etc.
Governing quality assurance reporting on the FRMC services through service trackers.
Directing the written standards and training framework with materials owned by/used by relevant FRMC team, including governance of standards, GoA policy, self-assessment guidance for low risk or non-global activities, FRMC principles, etc. Where appropriate, ensure relevant training courses are delivered.
Leading the monitoring of several internal FRMC processes (such as RACMs, MCF updates, Exceptions management) by defining process and RACI and perform management monitoring on its application.
Owning and acting as custodian of the central FRMC written standards repository, the FRMC intranet and the FRMC Academy (and its different faculties).
Accountable for the oversight, monitoring, deployment and maintenance for several FRMC AI agents related to risk governance and monitoring, including the AI agent’s purpose and rules while continuously monitoring and adjusting it to ensure safe, compliant, and effective performance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Master Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
Minimum of 15 years post qualification experience in internal or external audit, or SOX compliance programmes.
Chartered Accountant qualification.
