• Exciting opportunity to join the Cyber, Strategic Delivery and Performance team within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport  

• This is a Clerk Grade 11/12 role with a salary range of $154,231 - $178,369 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading

• Ongoing role based in Sydney CBD, hybrid working arrangements may be available within business operational needs
  
  

About The Role

In this role, you will:

• lead the planning and delivery of complex projects and initiatives from design through to implementation and evaluation

• coordinate governance, reporting, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies and delivery artefacts

• build strong relationships with stakeholders across the department and portfolio to drive outcomes and maintain momentum

• support the implementation of priority initiatives, including delivery coordination, stakeholder engagement, onboarding, communications and continuous improvement

• translate ideas and business needs into structured initiatives, delivery plans and measurable outcomes

• contribute to the uplift and maturity of a new function by improving processes, governance, reporting, planning and ways of working

• provide high-quality advice, briefings and recommendations to support decision-making and executive oversight

• deliver other strategic, digital, reform or capability-building projects as priorities evolve.

About You

You will bring:

• demonstrated experience delivering complex projects in government, digital, transformation, policy or operational environments

• strong project management discipline, including planning, governance, risk management, reporting and stakeholder coordination

• excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare quality briefs, updates and recommendations

• sound judgement, initiative and the ability to work through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment

• strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to bring people with you

• a practical mindset and a focus on outcomes, continuous improvement and getting things done.

• experience in digital uplift, transformation, organisational change, capability-building or continuous improvement initiatives will be highly regarded.
