What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Executive Director, Stakeholder Relations and Community Impact, the Associate Director, Stakeholder Relations, Service Delivery plays a pivotal role in advancing the strategic priorities of the Stakeholder Relations & Communications (SR&C) team. This role ensures that programs and projects are strategically integrated, effectively governed, and continuously optimized. A core focus is strengthening SR&C’s internal capabilities—spanning technology, talent, data, and innovation—by fostering collaboration with internal partners and driving continuous improvement efforts.

As Associate Director, Stakeholder Relations, Service Delivery, you will:

  • Lead Integrated Planning: Develop and manage SR&C’s annual and rolling integrated plan, aligning Marketing, Corporate Communications, Government Relations, Community Impact, and Corporate Initiatives into one roadmap with clear outcomes, milestones, and performance measures.
  • Drive Data Strategy and Reporting: Oversee SR&C’s data and reporting framework, including dashboards, KPIs, and performance insights. Translate data into actionable insights to inform decision-making and executive reporting.
  • Champion Operational Excellence: Analyze business processes, recommend improvements, and identify opportunities for automation and innovation to enhance stakeholder engagement and operational integrity.
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as lead liaison with Strategy, Transformation Office, HR, IT, and Finance to ensure SR&C priorities are supported across the organization.
  • Manage Projects and Change: Oversee planning and execution of key SR&C projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and strategic outcomes. Support change management efforts related to new systems and processes.
  • Represent SR&C: Participate in business continuity rotations and oversee external agency partnerships to ensure alignment with GTAA’s strategic direction and standards.
  • Foster People Leadership: Build a high-performance, inclusive, and accountable culture. Role model GTAA Leadership Behaviors to inspire collaboration, innovation, and results.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • 7+ years in strategy development, planning, or corporate communications.
  • 5+ years in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • 5+ years of management experience, including senior leadership engagement.
  • Proven ability to lead integrated planning and manage complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and data storytelling capabilities.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills for executive audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, strategy, analytics, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP certification, as an asset.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance.
