We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities:

Vendor Management:

•Vendor Lifecycle Management

Manage the full lifecycle of third-party vendors, including vendor verification, onboarding, regular review and exit.

•Engagement Performance Management

Build and implement vendor KPI assessment covering service quality, delivery efficiency, problem-solving capability and compliance performance. Conduct regular performance reviews, track assessment results, and push for improvement or remediation.

•Contract Management

Collaborating with legal, procurement, finance, business / product and IT teams to manage contracts from draft to termination.

•Cost Control and Value Optimization

Track vendor service cost, analyze cost structure and trends. Negotiate charge and optimize vendor spend continuously.

•Risk Control and Gap Tracking

Identify potential vendor risks, assessment on compliance and remediate the gaps within required timeframe.

Software Development Management:

•Platform Management

Take ownership of managing internal software development on low-code platform and Cloud, aligning with schedules, business workflow and requirement.

•Optimization and Compliance

Optimize the solution with advanced technique, and ensure the development is compliant with different standards.

•Team Leadership

Manage the team achieves excellence and operational efficiency, and ensures the team have the resources, skills, and support needed to succeed.

Modernization Management:

•Business Case

Come up with business case for modernization on legacy platform and governance the financial for the program.

•Collaboration and Reporting

Work closely with different stakeholders and different workstreams in the modernization program, and construct structured and regular / ad-hoc reporting to senior management.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

•20+ years of experience in product / project management, or related roles.

•Proven track record of managing software development and delivery.

•Strong experience working as business (product and operation service) in global grade and receivable finance, demonstrating excellent understanding on business products and solutions.

•Solid domain knowledge in core trade and receivable finance.

•Knowledge and experience working as ITSO / SQM is required.

•Expert in vendor management for software supplier and contract negotiation.

What additional skills will be good to have?

•Certifications on PMP / MCITP / ITIL V3 will be a plus.
