JOB PURPOSE:
The role will drive standard risk management support across Global Finance, working with Finance leaders and their leadership teams on addressing high risk areas for GSK, driving risk awareness and functional mitigation plans are required and providing risk updates and management reports to senior management. The role also provides inputs to enterprise risk boards (e.g. Audit and Risk Committee, etc)
KEY ACTIVITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing Risk reporting for Finance Leadership, Board..(ROCC, Audit and Risk Committee, Finance Leadership, Legal and Compliance) and ExCom annual certification
Key contact for Finance Leadership teams and large markets leaders to support their Risk assessment, analysis and risk governance includes RMCB coordination/co-chairing,
Ensures on-going embedding of GSK Risk Management Framework (ICF model) across all Finance Leadership Groups, assess level of maturity and relevant remediation plans needed for an effective risk management framework and support addressing any gaps and improvements needed
Provides risk management support on High risk areas such as infosec, cyber, third party risk management, tech, digital, enterprise risks, and Data privacy.
Develop risk mitigation plan strategies for Global Finance where appropriate and drive implementation across all Finance Leadership teams, in collaboration with other risk functions as required.
Users of internal dynamic risk tool –– to identify high-risk /high value areas and support relevant action plans implementation/coordination
Define / Identify and monitor Key Risk Indicators / Key Performance Indicators across Finance functions and drive strategy and improvements plans based on those.
Supports adequate risk management in other areas and supports internal customers with with self – assessment tools and review
Oversight of remediation major process incidents & control deficiencies, CAPAs, etc for respective Finance Leadership Groups
Ensure technology and Agentic AI solutions are applied to enhance Finance risk management oversight and reporting across all risk areas, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support implementation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Master of Business Administration, Finance, accounting, etc.
External / Internal Audit experience required. Or Entreprise Risk Management / Advisory.
15+ years post qualification relevant finance experience
Risk Certification, Audit Certification and/or Public Accounting (ACCA)
