Lead building and operational projects across a high-profile government environment, driving infrastructure improvements and delivering outcomes that support the heart of government.

About the Role

As Associate Director, Projects, you will play a key leadership role within Corporate Services, leading the delivery of a diverse portfolio of building, infrastructure and workplace projects across a unique and high-profile government environment.

Working across the Premier's Department, The Cabinet Office, Ministerial offices and Parliament House, you will oversee the planning and delivery of projects that enhance critical government workplaces and facilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a broad range of building and operational projects, including office fit-outs, workplace upgrades, maintenance initiatives and infrastructure improvements. You'll manage projects from planning to delivery, overseeing budgets, procurement, risk and stakeholder engagement to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, contractors and service providers, you'll navigate complex challenges, provide expert advice and drive successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a strong project manager who enjoys leading high-impact work and delivering tangible outcomes.

We're Looking For

  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects, including project planning, budgeting, procurement, risk management and governance
  • Building & Facilities Experience: Experience delivering building operations, workplace refurbishment, fit-out, facilities management or infrastructure projects
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build trusted relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments while balancing competing priorities
  • Government Knowledge: Familiarity with government policies, procedures and governance frameworks will be highly regarded
