Job Description

At Audible, we believe stories have the power to transform lives. It's why we work with some of the world's leading creators to produce and share audio storytelling with our millions of global listeners. We are dreamers and inventors who come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to empower and inspire each other. Imagine your future with us.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
This is a senior, 18-month fixed-term production role within the Non-Fiction team at Audible. You will lead the end-to-end production of a defined slate of premium, format-led non-fiction audio titles — pushing creative and editorial boundaries to set new standards for the genre. We're looking for someone with the creative vision and editorial authority to develop innovative production approaches, manage high-profile talent relationships with credibility, and deliver complex, multi-format productions autonomously. This role requires experience and seniority beyond that of a standard producer.

ABOUT YOU
You are a senior producer who thrives on creative ambition and complexity. You bring authority and credibility to talent relationships at the highest level, and you navigate complex stakeholder environments with strong emotional intelligence. Highly autonomous and organised, you manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously without compromising on quality. You're excited by the opportunity to push boundaries and deliver productions of exceptional standard.

As the Associate Director, Production Non-Fiction you will...
- Lead the end-to-end production of a defined slate of premium non-fiction titles from development through to final delivery within the 18-month contract period
- Develop and deliver new production formats that demonstrably advance the creative ambition of Audible's non-fiction output.
- Establish innovative production approaches for non-fiction audio, delivering a documented framework that can be adopted by the wider team at project close
- Manage high-profile talent relationships with authority, credibility, and emotional intelligence
- Provide creative input and editorial feedback across factual and non-fiction genres
- Collaborate with internal teams including Production Support, Business Affairs, Marketing, and Commissioning
- Maintain the highest editorial standards and oversee compliance across all productions
