Job Description

The Associate Director, Product Management is a strategic leader within TAPI's Commercial organization, responsible for maximizing the long-term value, profitability, and competitiveness of assigned API products throughout their lifecycle. The role owns global product strategy development and execution, translating market insights and customer needs into differentiated commercial strategies that drive sustainable growth.

Acting as the global expert for their product portfolio, the Product Manager leads go-to-market initiatives, portfolio optimization, lifecycle management, pricing strategy, and value proposition development while partnering closely with Commercial, R&D, Business Development, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute global product strategies for assigned APIs, including market positioning, pricing, lifecycle management, growth initiatives, and commercialization plans.
• Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability through proactive portfolio management and strategic opportunity identification.
• Conduct comprehensive market assessments, including therapeutic area dynamics, customer trends, competitive intelligence, patent landscapes, and emerging industry developments.
• Serve as the global subject matter expert on market dynamics, customer needs, competitive positioning, and TAPI's value proposition.
• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that create differentiation and accelerate commercial success across global markets.
• Lead product lifecycle management from pipeline assessment and launch planning through commercial growth, optimization, and end-of-life decisions.
• Identify and drive lifecycle management opportunities, including new applications, market expansion, product improvements, and portfolio enhancement initiatives.
• Develop compelling marketing materials, product positioning, and customer-facing tools that clearly communicate TAPI's value proposition.
• Enable commercial excellence by delivering product training, market insights, and opportunity development support to regional sales teams and customers.
• Continuously evaluate portfolio performance, product competitiveness, and market attractiveness to optimize investment decisions and resource allocation.
• Align and influence cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic priorities and achievement of business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA is considered an advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Business Development, or other strategic commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, API, CDMO, or life sciences industry.
• Proven experience developing and executing product strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical markets, product lifecycle management, competitive landscapes, pricing strategies, and portfolio optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to translate market insights and data into clear business recommendations and strategic actions.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong business acumen and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and a continuous improvement orientation.
• Experience working in cross-functional and global matrix organizations.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%.
