Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Principal - Primary Intelligence to join IQVIA. This is a senior, client-facing role focused on leading and growing our Primary Intelligence business in Mexico.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative primary market research, with a strong track record of designing and delivering healthcare stakeholder research, generating actionable insights,

and building trusted client relationships. In addition to leading complex engagements, this individual will play a key role in business development, revenue growth, and the expansion of IQVIA's Primary Intelligence offerings within

the Mexican market.

You will work closely with consulting, commercial, and research teams to develop and deliver high-impact custom and syndicated solutions for life sciences clients.

Client & Commercial Leadership

  • Own and grow a portfolio of client relationships across the Mexico market, driving revenue growth and client retention.
  • Lead business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and closing new business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on primary intelligence and market research needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in a collaborative selling environment to develop integrated solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through Primary Intelligence, Custom Research, and Insights

offerings.

Primary Intelligence & Solution Development

  • Lead the development and commercialization of Primary Intelligence solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare clients.
  • Contribute to and lead syndicated research initiatives from concept development through market launch.
  • Support go-to-market activities and thought leadership related to Primary Intelligence offerings.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and industry best practices.

Project Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end Primary Intelligence engagements, including study design, discussion guide development, stakeholder interviews, quantitative survey studies, analysis, and insight generation.
  • Oversee research conducted with healthcare stakeholders, including physicians, payers, providers, patients, caregivers, and key opinion leaders.
  • Deliver high-quality, actionable recommendations that address client business challenges.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring excellence in execution, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and oversee client deliverables.

Team Collaboration

  • Mentor and coach junior team members on Primary Intelligence methodologies and consulting best practices.
  • Contribute to capability building and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in life sciences consulting, healthcare market research, Primary Intelligence, Custom Insights, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of project management experience leading multi-country or complex client engagements.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading qualitative and quantitative Primary Intelligence research projects.
  • Hands-on experience designing and executing primary research studies, including interviews, discussion guides,

surveys, analysis, and insight synthesis.

  • Experience conducting research with healthcare stakeholders.
  • Proven track record generating revenue and selling Primary Intelligence, Market Research, or Custom Insights engagements.
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Availability for hybrid model (2-3 days at the office per week) in Mexico City
