Responsibilities
The Associate Director - Pricing will be a crucial part of a team that determines Pricing and Access strategies for Lilly’s portfolio.
You will be reporting to VP, Pricing and Market Access and be responsible for providing analysis and reports to optimize pricing and access opportunities for Lilly Canada. The work encompasses both the optimization of commercialized products and the preparation for future launches by developing early pricing and market access insights for pipeline assets. Additional responsibilities include the coordination of PRA team operations such as Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracting and payer submissions.
This is a hybrid role – onsite presence at our Toronto office will be 10 days or more per month (or at least 50% of the time), determined in collaboration with your manager and based on business needs.
This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Bonus Program and a car allowance.

Strategic Pricing and Access
Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access and Finance to provide critical quantitative inputs for pricing strategies
Develop analyses to inform public and private payer reimbursement decisions
Provide guidance to Market Access team on business cases and negotiation strategies
Lead the internal launch price approval process
Coordinate contracting process for Group Purchasing Organizations
Lead New Product Planning activities to provide early pricing and market access insights for pipeline assets across therapeutic areas
Canadian Pricing Regulation Management (PMPRB)
Assist with interpreting PMPRB regulations, resolving investigations and compiling semi-annual PMPRB reporting
Understand the business impact of proposed revisions to PMPRB regulations and new guidelines
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent (MBA or MSc in Finance is preferred)
Significant pharmaceutical industry experience
Min. 5 years of experience in market access and/or related functions
Able to think critically, innovatively and possess strong business acumen
Excellent quantitative technical ability, highly capable in Microsoft Excel, and attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proven problem solving skills
Bias for action and proven ability to influence without authority
Demonstrated ability to coach and train towards excellence
Additional Skills/Preferences:
Health sciences background
Action-oriented and demonstrated by managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment with changing and/or competing priorities
Understanding of PMPRB regulations, health technology assessment, health economic methodologies, and Canadian market access environment
Bilingual (English / French)
High level of comfort in leveraging AI to automate work

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$132,000 - $193,600
Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
