
Coordinate and deliver strategic data initiatives across the Department. Lead the development of unified data sets, consistent performance measures, and sector-specific insights that inform decision-making and demonstrate impact. Play a key role in shaping a cohesive data strategy that brings together priorities from across the Department. Ensure alignment with the Department’s data governance frameworks and contribute to creating a coherent, high-quality data environment that supports reform and department-wide objectives.
We're looking for someone with strong experience in performance reporting, data analysis and turning complex information into clear, practical insights. They will need to be confident working with senior stakeholders, leading cross-functional work, and driving outcomes in a large and complex organisation. Experience with executive, Cabinet or Treasury reporting, performance frameworks, data governance and continuous improvement would be highly regarded.
