Job Description

Introduction 

We’re seeking an Associate Director of Demand Generation Marketing to play an influential role driving the evolution of our demand generation marketing and accelerating the company’s global growth. 

Within this role, you will build a company-wide reputation for distilling the commercial requirements of senior stakeholders across CC’s business to create and deliver demand generation marketing campaigns with meaningful business results.

Your prior experience as a manager of a marketing function or discipline will underpin the continual improvement of CC’s marketing. You will be adept at motivating and supporting individuals and groups across the business to achieve a positive business impact.

This is a role within the Demand Generation Marketing Team at Cambridge Consultants (CC), providing the opportunity to develop your career as the business grows.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead senior stakeholder groups across the company to create audience segmentation strategies to use as the basis of marketing campaigns
  • Lead the conception, development and delivery of demand generation marketing campaigns with a clear line to business impact. Your work spans requirement gathering, working with the Creative Storytelling team to develop concepts, creating tactical plans, and playing a hands-on role in delivery
  • Play a major role in the continual improvement of the company’s demand generation marketing campaigns, using digital platforms (Salesforce.com, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc) to analyse data and overall campaign performance
  • Be active in the ongoing development of the marketing function, providing guidance to others, developing a strong team culture and offering a critical analysis of the function to improve its capabilities
  • Contribute to the development of a high-value brand through the activities you lead
  • Control campaign financial budgets in order to achieve maximum ROI

This role will naturally offer lots of variety and the opportunity to collaborate with, and influence, our cross divisional teams. As such, we believe this role will be best performed by someone who can regularly visit our Cambridge (UK) office.

Your experience

We’re seeking applicants with the following experience or skills:

  • Considerable marketing experience in a commercial B2B environment, ideally at either technology-focused or service-based companies
  • Demonstrable success as a manager of a function or discipline (including line management), motivating and developing people to achieve a positive business impact
  • Experience developing and delivering marketing campaign strategies in a range of markets and regions  
  • Recognised for driving professionalism, excellence, and a desire for continued innovation
  • A strong track record as a leader and mentor of other marketers
  • A positive influence in developing strong team culture
  • A proven ability in the management of change and improvement
  • Ability to constructively resolve complex challenges
  • Expertise in CRM and Marketing Automation software (preferably Salesforce.com and Hubspot) 
  • A recognised professional qualification in marketing
