Job Description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for an Associate Director of Agile PMO to join our Technology team in Columbus, OH.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for leading and evolving our Agile PMO and enterprise delivery practices. You will drive consistency, transparency, and operational excellence across project management, agile frameworks, and portfolio governance.

You’ll partner closely with Product, IT, and Business leaders to align strategy with execution, strengthen delivery performance, and ensure successful outcomes across strategic initiatives. This role plays a key part in enabling organizational agility and improving how work is delivered across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end Agile PMO and project delivery function, including strategy, execution, governance, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and enforce project management and agile standards for consistent delivery practices, reporting, and governance
  • Drive portfolio management processes including prioritization, dependency management, risk mitigation, and resource alignment
  • Partner with Product, IT, and Business leaders to ensure alignment between planning, execution, and delivery outcomes
  • Build and develop high-performing Agile PMO and project delivery teams through coaching, mentoring, and talent development
  • Create and lead Agile and Project Management Centers of Excellence to support adoption and continuous improvement
  • Ensure enterprise-wide visibility into delivery performance, including milestones, reporting, estimation, and testing practices
  • Collaborate with leadership to define and monitor delivery metrics and improve transparency, communication, and effectiveness

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of management experience in Agile and/or Project Management
  • Experience leading IT project management or agile delivery teams across the full Software Development Life Cycle
  • Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to lead strategy, drive execution, and manage competing priorities in a complex environment
  • Experience building and sustaining governance frameworks and delivery standards
