The Associate Director, Integrated Insights, New Markets will actively influence commercial strategy and planning efforts for market expansion of BeOne’s product portfolio in the New Markets Region (Latam, Mena, Africa, Eastern Europe – not EU, etc). S/he will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing forecasting, primary and secondary market analytics, and other ad hoc analysis activities to plan for, monitor and optimize commercial success for BeOne products throughout New Markets regions.

This person will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional partners to identify critical business objectives and risks and develop and implement analysis plans to address these key strategic issues and recommend high impact market plans and activities. This person must be able to engage diverse audiences and possess strong analytical skills with an ability to translate findings into actionable insights.

The scope of responsibilities will extend to business partner and affiliate markets managed by the New Markets team.

Essential Functions of the job:

  • Manage unit & revenue assumptions in short- and long-range New Markets forecasts across the BeOne portfolio. Collaborate with team to optimize forecast design (e.g., patient flow and/or share based models, epidemiology sources, etc.). Support the finance team and other executive team members in the design of alternative forecast models as needed.

  • Design and develop prescriptive and predictive analytical approaches, leveraging primary and secondary data sources.

  • Execute and implement analytical solutions in support of business opportunity and risk assessment, customer segmentation and targeting, promotion response and return on investment analytics, and patient flow modelling.

  • Support for commercial planning of products in development and under consideration for potential in licensing, including evaluation of market opportunities for partner and affiliate markets.

  • Analyze data to provide ongoing strategic and tactical guidance to business partner and development teams; Identify potential marketing opportunities and threats.

  • Work closely with New Markets Leadership team; New Market Development to identify data to deliver key insights into business partner and affiliate sales performance.

  • Build strategic thought partnerships and resolve key business issues with cross-functional business partners across marketing, market access, clinical, medical affairs, regulatory, finance, manufacturing, supply chain and sales. Collaborate with these cross-functional partners to ensure appropriate output and "pull" for analytics.

  • Demonstrate analytics thought leadership and represent BeOne at key meetings, functions, and conferences, etc., when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in Life Sciences, Marketing, or Business; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

  • 8+ years progressive experience in forecasting, strategic analysis, planning and analytics.

  • Biotech or pharmaceutical launch / in-market experience required.

  • Global and/or international experience.

  • Hands on, in-depth understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate the data and learning into actionable recommendations for business growth.

  • Experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g. IQVIA)

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and act without having the complete picture.

  • Ability to adapt plans and strategies as new market findings arise.

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of commercial strategy, opportunity and risks for the Executive Team.

  • Proven ability to grow and develop others.

Salary Range Switzerland: 159,600.00 CHF - 199,500.00 CHF
