Create your best future and join Westpac as an Associate Director, Merchant Product Manager
What’s the role?
Join Westpac Institutional Bank's Merchant Payments team and help shape the future of digital payments for businesses across Australia. Based in Sydney with hybrid working arrangements, this 12-month max-term parental leave cover opportunity sits within the Global Transaction Services business and focuses on the evolution of our merchant acquiring portfolio, including eCommerce, in-store, mobile and emerging payment acceptance solutions.
You'll play a key role in developing and enhancing products that help businesses accept payments more simply, securely and efficiently. Working across areas such as SoftPOS, EFTPOS Air and other mobile payment technologies, you'll translate customer needs, market trends and industry opportunities into meaningful product capabilities and enhancements.
Partnering closely with technology, delivery, operations, risk and external providers, you'll help define product roadmaps, prioritise new features and support the successful delivery of customer-focused solutions. You'll also contribute to product governance, risk management and ongoing portfolio performance, while acting as a trusted subject matter expert within a rapidly evolving payments environment. This is an opportunity to influence strategic outcomes, drive innovation and be part of a team that is helping businesses grow through smarter payment experiences.
What do I need?
You'll bring a passion for creating great customer experiences and a strong understanding of payments, product management and stakeholder engagement. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, delivering change and working collaboratively across complex environments.
